EXCAVATOR ATTACHMENTS
FOR Colorado.

For Colorado property and woodland projects, distinguish gathering loose wood from preparing the ground beneath it. Describe the terrain, access and intended finish so the shop can compare a handling attachment with a tool for loosening material or shaping the final surface. Machine configuration and actual site conditions determine the build.

Plan the cleanup and the finished grade together.

Use this guide to compare tools for woodland cleanup · ground preparation · grading. The state context below explains the applications; your machine, material and required finish determine the final attachment. These are selection recommendations, not statewide sales rankings.

PRIMARY
RECOMMENDATIONS.

Compare the task each attachment performs, then open the product to review its approved model, fitment, options and lead time.

CHOOSING FOR YOUR JOB

For a Colorado property project, should I add a grapple rake or a tilting bucket first?

Start with the task preventing the next stage of work. A grapple rake handles loose woody material and separates loose soil; a tilting bucket shapes a specified surface once the area is ready for finishing. If resistant ground is the obstacle, discuss its composition before adding a ripper. Send terrain photos, required contours and carrier details so attachment selection reflects the actual sequence of work.

BEFORE YOU
INQUIRE.

  • Describe slope, working space and access separately from the attachment width you want.
  • Identify whether material is loose, rooted, compacted, fractured rock or solid rock.
  • Provide the required finished grade or cross-section when requesting a tilting bucket.
  • Include hydraulic flow and pressure information for hydraulic attachments. Hoses and hydraulic lines are not included in hydraulic product orders.
  • Always provide machine make and model, coupler type and required pin-on measurements. See the measurement guide →
