IS THIS THE RIGHT ATTACHMENT?

Practical uses

Occasional handling of logs, brush, rock and irregular material with the thumb set manually and the bucket providing the grip.

Does a manual thumb need auxiliary hydraulics?

No. Its working position is set mechanically. Choose a hydraulic thumb when adjustment from the cab is needed.

Tell us about the job

Provide machine model, bucket details, flat stick width, stick-to-tooth distance and mounting-surface photos.

Start with your machine make and model. Final dimensions and application suitability are reviewed before fabrication.

BEFORE YOU
ORDER.

Will the excavator thumb work with both my bucket and coupler?

The combination needs a geometry check. Send the bucket width, coupler details and photos of the stick and linkage so thumb reach, contact points and clearance can be reviewed together. Tell us if you switch between buckets; a thumb sized around one attachment may not contact another in the same way.

What information is needed to quote the Weld-On Manual Thumb?

Start with your machine make/model and a way to contact you. Measurements are not required for the initial inquiry. Before fabrication, we confirm: Excavator make and model, bucket width and tooth layout, stick-to-bucket-tooth distance, flat stick width, mounting-surface photos and working clearance.

When would the Weld-On Manual Thumb be ready?

The approximate build lead time is 10–15 working days, starting after all required measurements are confirmed. Current shop volume and the selected configuration can affect timing. Freight transit is additional; share your needed-on-site date when requesting a quote.

What mounting hardware is included with the Weld-On Manual Thumb?

Mounting components are confirmed with your quote. Attachment pins are sold separately.

What affects the quoted price and delivery cost?

Size, mounting requirements and selected options affect attachment pricing. For freight, provide the delivery ZIP code, whether the address is a business, farm or residence, and your unloading equipment. Freight depends on shipment size, weight and delivery access; confirm the attachment, selected options and delivery charges in the quote before ordering.

Can I request a modification that is not listed?

Yes. Every configuration includes a place to describe additional modifications. East Attachments will review feasibility, fitment, pricing, and lead time before fabrication.
